This course is designed to teach students the skills and knowledge they need to satisfy the Adult Education Digital Literacy requirement. This includes basic knowledge of the types of computers, their advantages and disadvantages, how to navigate the Internet, basic skills in word processing, slideshow, and spreadsheet programs, understanding social media, your digital footprint, digital information literacy, and using the Web for job/career searches.
How are your money management skills? This course will build the groundwork to move students from financial muddling to confident budgeters with money saved to invest for their future. Students will set short term and long term goals for their financial success. They will create a budget that they can stick with. They will learn the ins and outs of credit - how they are evaluated, what to do to improve their credit score, and how to use it wisely. Students will also become more savvy consumers. This 8-week course will prepare them for more saving and investing, which is covered in Financial Literacy 2.
This course will prepare learners for post secondary education and the workplace. Content covered will include self-evaluations of work abilities and skill toward career pathways, recognizing and overcoming barriers to college and employment, development of time management skills, conflict resolution, and work ethics. College placement testing, college tours, navigating a college campus or career site, interviewing skills and applications for college and work, and resumes will also be addressed.
This course will be available in person and online depending on the need of the learner.

Community Art Night is a weekly event for students and the community! Bring a project from home or come try something new. Work independently or as a group.

10 week Certificate program in Dental Assisting for one of the most high-demand careers. This program is designed to teach all aspects of dental assisting and provide you the skills you need to work in this field and pass a national certificate exam.
