Children's behavioral health services are vital to Maine's children with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental health disorders and their families. And the need in our area is great!

As an integral part of the child's treatment team, a Certified Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) has the opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping a child grow and develop to their full potential.

Training Components will be for Home and Community Based, section 65. If you are looking to be in a school setting, an Ed Tech Certification 3 is required.

Prerequisites:

High School Diploma or Equivalency1
8+ Years Old, at time of completion
CASAS Reading & Comprehension Assessment* provided by Augusta Adult and Community Education

Fun fact: This is the only training provider designated through DHHS to offer the certification in Maine. You will need to pass a background check, but that is completed after the completion of the training, as part of your application during the hiring process.

Maine law requires every food service establishment to have a certified manager on duty at all times. The ServSafe® Manager Certification lasts five years. Be ServSafe® certified! ServSafe training and certification are made easy with a one-day session. Fully interactive, live instructor-led food safety course delivered in a traditional classroom setting. ServSafe Managers Courses are a one-day format, with class, and exam the same day. A break will be given for lunch, students are on their own for lunch and are free to leave the campus. The examination usually begins around 3:00 PM. Once the student has completed the exam, they are dismissed.

Students will need to purchase: ServSafe Manager Book & Exam Answer Sheet 7th Edition Revised Includes an Exam Answer Sheet - Product code: ESX7R ISBN 978-58280-331-9. If a student already has the ServSafe Manager Book 7th Edition Revised, they will need to order the ServSafe Manager Exam (Answer Sheet) - Product code: SSEAS.
