Administrative Assistant Certificate
This certificate is appropriate for learners who might have some basic skills, but want to either re-enter the workforce, or move up in their current position. Students build an ePortfolio as they go through their program that highlights the skills they have learned, as well as create a resume, cover letter template, and LinkedIn account to create a professional presence online.
Office Communications II
This course offers skills in how to schedule appointments using different digital calendars, setting up virtual meetings, communications with outside stakeholders and other forms of communication beyond basic customer service.
Microsoft Word: Basic
Ideal for people new to MS Word. Topics: documents 101, creating documents, formatting and editing text; introducing tables, formatting and modifying, data storing; visual objects, shapes, text boxes; creating business reports; and more.

Career Advising
This course will prepare students for post-secondary education and/or the work place. Evaluations of work abilities and skills toward career pathways are major components of the course. Recognizing and overcoming barriers to college and the work place will be discussed as well as development of appropriate attitudes, time management, organizational skills, conflict resolution, and work ethic needed for obtaining and keeping a job. College placement testing, application, and campus tours, will be covered as well as cover letters, resumes, ePortfolio, LinkedIn profile, and interviewing skills.

Microsoft Excel: Basic
This course includes an introduction to electronic spreadsheets and how they are used, the difference between text, numbers, and calculating in Excel, creating and using formulas, right and wrong ways to enter a formula (and why, copying and pasting, drag and drop editing, formatting, printing working with columns and rows, absolute references and an introduction to charts.

Accounting I
This course is a general introduction to accounting principles that covers the first 12 chapters in the accounting text and workbooks. Topics covered will include accounting terminology and methodology for double entry accounting, journalizing, posting and closing entries; generation of income statements and balance sheets; and an introduction to payroll processing.
